Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
North Kalimantan Province's NTP in May 2024 was 112.95 or an increase of 0.68 percent compared to the April 2024 NTP. The increase in NTP was caused by an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.80 percent or faster than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib ) which experienced an increase of 0.11 percent.
NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province in May 2024, namely the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 101.28; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) was 102.21; People's Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 178.20; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 103.97; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 101.01.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in May 2024 was 116.31 or an increase of 0.69 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In May 2024 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan Province by 0.09 percent with the highest increase occurring in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group at 0.14 percent.
