Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
North Kalimantan Province's NTP in October 2023 was 111.92 or an increase of 0.77 percent compared to the NTP in September 2023. The increase in NTP was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which tended to be faster at 0.81 percent compared to the Price Index Paid by Farmers ( Ib) which increased by 0.04 percent.
NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province October 2023, namely the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 97.51; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) was 102.60; People's Plantation Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 171.84; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) was 106.63; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) was 103.48.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in October 2023 was 113.86 or an increase of 0.82 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In October 2023, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan by 0.05 percent, with the highest increase occurring in the Health group at 0.09 percent.
