Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
North Kalimantan Province's NTP in October 2023 was 111.66 or decreased by -0.24 percent compared to the NTP in October 2023. The decrease in NTP was caused by a decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) of -0.30 percent while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib ) fell by -0.06 percent.
NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province November 2023, namely the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 97.72; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 106.02; People's Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 167.76; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 106.36; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) was 103.94.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in November 2023 was 113.56 or down -0.25 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In November 2023, there will be a decline in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan by -0.06 percent, with the deepest decline occurring in the Personal Care and Other Services group at -0.17 percent.
