Abstract

Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the FTT, the relatively strong the farmer's level of ability / purchasing power.
The NTP of Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2022 was 105.68 or down 1.20 percent compared to the FTT in June 2022. The decrease in FTT was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was lower than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
NTP per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2022, namely the Exchange Rate of Food Crops Farmers (NTPP) of 95.76; Horticultural Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTPH) is 103.31; Farmer's Exchange Rate of People's Plantation Plants (NTPR) is 130.15; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 104.19; and the Exchange Rate of Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 105.89.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2022 was 109.15, down 0.74 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In July 2022, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Utara by 0.77 percent due to an increase in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco index by 1.25 percent.
