Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
North Kalimantan Province's NTP in December 2023 was 111.57 or decreased by -0.08 percent compared to the NTP in November 2023. The decrease in NTP was caused by an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) of 0.36 percent or lower than the increase in the Price Paid Index Farmers (Ib) was 0.44 percent.
NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province December 2023, namely the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 98.17; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 104.50; People's Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 167.70; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 106.02; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) was 103.19.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in December 2023 was 113.77 or an increase of 0.19 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In December 2023, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan by 0.51 percent with the highest increase occurring in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group at 0.79 percent.
