Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The NTP for North Kalimantan Province in September 2023 was 111.07 or decreased by -0.05 percent compared to the NTP in August 2023. The decrease in NTP was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which tended to remain the same compared to the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which increased by 0.06 percent.
NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province September 2023, namely the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 97.17; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) was 101.64; People's Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 168.56; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) was 106.69; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) was 102.96.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in September 2023 was 112.93 or an increase of 0.00 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In September 2023, there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan by 0.08 percent with the highest increase occurring in the Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group at 0.49 percent.
