In September 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 1.74 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.21. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 2.24 percent with a CPI of 107.71 and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Selor at 1.28 percent with a CPI of 104.56.
Y-on-y inflation in North Kalimantan Province occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.87 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.86 percent; health group at 0.63 percent; transportation group at 0.79 percent; education group by 0.30 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.02 percent; personal care and other services group amounted to 5.66 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decline in the index were the housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 0.33 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.30 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.27 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.29 percent.
North Kalimantan Province in September the month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was -0.09 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.80 percent.
