Abstract

In August 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 1.59 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.30. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 1.84 percent with a CPI of 107.24 and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Selor at 0.64 percent with a CPI of 104.54.

Y-on-y inflation in North Kalimantan Province occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.48 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.87 percent; health group at 0.77 percent; transportation group by 0.90 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.21 percent; education group by 0.30 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 2.80 percent; personal care and other services group amounted to 4.97 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decline in the index were the housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 0.33 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.13 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.19 percent.

North Kalimantan Province in August the month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was -0.19 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.89 percent.

June 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.39 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.28 percent.

September 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 1.74 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 2.24 percent.

May 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.42 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 2.65 percent.
