Abstract

The economy of Tana Tidung Regency based on the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the first quarter of 2023 reached IDR 2.20 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 984.92 billion.

The economy of Tana Tidung Regency in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter experienced a growth contraction of 7.41 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the deepest growth contraction occurred in the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery business fields of 11.38 percent.

The economy of Tana Tidung Regency in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the first quarter of 2022 grew by 3.76 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the Financial Services and Insurance business sector experienced the highest growth of 16.06 percent.

Spatially, the regional economic structure of North Kalimantan Province in the first quarter of 2023 is dominated by Tarakan City at 33.99 percent and the smallest is Tana Tidung Regency at 6.00 percent. The economic performance of Tarakan City was recorded as having the highest growth of 6.36 percent, while Tana Tidung Regency was in fifth position with a growth of 3.76 percent (y-on-y).
