Abstract

The economy of Tana Tidung Regency based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at the current price of the first quarter of 2021 reached Rp. 1.53 trillion and at constant 2010 prices it reached Rp. 0.92 trillion.

The economy of Tana Tidung Regency in the first quarter of 2021 against the first quarter of 2020 contracted 2.14 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the contraction was caused by several business fields, where the highest contraction occurred in the Transportation and Warehousing business sector at 9.32 percent.
The economy of Tana Tidung Regency in the first quarter of 2021 against the fourth quarter of 2020 grew by 1.64 percent (q-to-q). This growth was caused by an increase that occurred in several business fields, the largest of which was the Mining and Excavation business field of 8.80 percent.
Spatially, the economic growth of North Kalimantan Province in the first quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) grew by 0.49 percent. The increase in economic growth was mainly due to the economic growth of all districts / cities in North Kalimantan Province. The highest growth occurred in Tana Tidung Regency with 1.64 percent; followed by Nunukan with 0.94 percent; Malinau Regency by 0.81 percent; Bulungan Regency by 0.52 percent; and the City of Tarakan with 0.17 percent.
In North Kalimantan Province, the economic contribution was still dominated by Tarakan City at 38.27 percent and the lowest was Tana Tidung Regency at 5.84 percent.
