Abstract

Economy of Tana Tidung Regency based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current market prices in the second quarter of 2021 reached Rp 1.59 trillion and at 2010 constant market prices reached Rp 0.95 trillion.
Economy of Tana Tidung Regency in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the second quarter of 2020 grew 6.32 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, growth was driven by almost all business fields, of which the highest was achieved by the Financial Services and Insurance business sector at 13.92 percent and the mining and excavation at 10.52 percent.
Economy of Tana Tidung Regency in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the first quarter of 2021 grew by 3.29 percent (q-to-q). This growth was due to an increase in several business fields that the largest business fields are Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries of 8.69 percent.
Spatially, the economic growth of Kalimantan Utara province in the second quarter of 2021 (q-to-q) grew by 2.17 percent. The enhancement economic growth is mainly due to economic growth all Regencies/Cities in Kalimantan Utara Province. The highest growth occurred in Tana Tidung Regency at 3.29 percent; then Malinau Regency at 3.07 percent; Bulungan Regency at 2.86 percent; Nunukan Regency at 2.32 percent; and Tarakan City at 2.28 percent.
On the province of Kalimantan Utara, Economy of Tarakan City contribution is still dominated by 38.22 percent and the lowest is Tana tidung Regency at 5.88 percent.
