Of the 82 cities monitoring national CPI, in March 2019 as many as 51 cities experienced inflation and 31 other cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Ambon Municipality at 0.86 percent and the lowest occurred in Tual at -3.03 percent and the lowest in Palembang, which was -0.01 occurred in Tangerang Municipality by 0.01 percent. Kalimantan Utara Province (Tarakan Municipality) in March 2019 there was a deflation of -0.63 percent with a calendar year inflation rate of 0.30 percent and year-on-year inflation of 4.74 percent.
