Abstract

The number of poor people in North Kalimantan in September 2024 was 41.11 thousand (5.38 percent). In March 2024, the number of poor people was 47.83 thousand (6.32 percent), indicating a reduction of 6.72 thousand people or a percentage decrease of 0.94 percentage points.
From March to September 2024, the poverty line (PL) increased by 2.58 percent, rising from IDR 854,294 per capita per month in March 2024 to IDR 876,375 per capita per month in September 2024.
During the same period, the Poverty Gap Index (P1) decreased from 0.816 in March 2024 to 0.495 in September 2024. Similarly, the Poverty Severity Index (P2) declined from 0.190 to 0.081.
