Abstract

In October 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province was 2.20 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.39. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.74 percent with a CPI of 107.28 and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Selor at 0.88 percent with a CPI of 104.78.
The y-on-y inflation in North Kalimantan Province occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 4.27 percent; clothing and footwear group by 3.67 percent; health group by 0.51 percent; transportation group by 0.78 percent; education group by 0.30 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 3.30 percent; personal care and other services group by 6.12 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decrease in the index were the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.58 percent; the household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.78 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.28 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.08 percent.
North Kalimantan Province in October had a month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate of 0.17 percent and a year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of 0.98 percent.

November 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province was 1.68 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 2.43 percent.

August 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 1.59 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 1.84 percent.

April 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.47 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.17 percent.

March 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.62 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.92 percent.
