Abstract

The number of poor people in North Kalimantan in March 2024 was 47.83 thousand (6.32 percent). In March 2023, the poor population will number 47.97 thousand (6.45 percent), meaning the number of poor people will decrease by 0.14 thousand people or a percentage decrease of 0.13 percentage points.

During March 2023 - March 2024, the poverty line (GK) increased by 4.45 percent, namely from Rp. 817,876,- per capita per month in March 2023 to Rp. 854,294,- per capita per month in March 2024.

In the period March 2023-March 2024, the Poverty Depth Index (P1) increased, from 0.639 in March 2023 to 0.816 in March 2024. The same thing happened with the Poverty Severity Index (P2) which increased from 0.107 to 0.190.
