Abstract

Farmers Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The NTP of North Kalimantan Province in January 2023 was 112.50, an increase of 1.47 percent compared to the NTP in December 2022. The increase in NTP was due to changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
NTP per sub-sector of North Kalimantan Province January 2023, namely the Food Crops Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 98.49; Horticultural Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 101.86; The Smallholder Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 173.70; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 104.59; and Fishermen and Fish Farmers Exchange Rate (NTNP) of 104.60.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in January 2023 was 114.16 or an increase of 1.53 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In January 2023 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan by 0.12 percent which was caused by an increase in the index on Food, Beverages and Tobacco by 0.52 percent.
