Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the FTT, the relatively strong the farmer's level of ability / purchasing power.
FTT of Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2021 was 105.62 or decreased by 0.16 percent compared to FTT in June 2021. The decrease in FTT was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was lower than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2021, namely the Food Crops Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPP) of 99.29; Horticultural Farmer's Terms of Trade (NTPH) of 96.54; People's Plantation Crops Terms of Trade (NTPR) is 128.84; The Farmers' Livestock Terms of Trade (NTPT) is 106.06 and the Fishermen and Fish Cultivators Terms of Trade (NTNP) is 104.34.
The Agricultural Household Business Terms of Trade (NTUP) of Kalimantan Utara Province in July 2021 was 108.06 or decreased by 0.05 percent compared to the previous month's FTT.
