The economy growth of Kalimantan Utara Province in 2019 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) based at current market prices reached Rp 97.46 trillion rupiah and at the constant prices of 2010 it reached Rp 61.83 trillion.
The economy growth of Kalimantan Utara Province in 2019 (c-to-c) grew 6.91 percent, faster than in 2018 of 0.86 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction business sector at 12.02 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Inter-Regional Net Export component of 21.57 percent.
The economy growth of Kalimantan Utara Province in the fourth quarter of 2019 compared to the fourth quarter of 2018 (y-on-y) grew by 6.04 percent, slightly slowing when compared to the same period the previous year which was 7.65 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction business sector at 11.95 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Inter-Regional Net Export component of 23.15 percent.
The economy growth of Kalimantan Utara Province in the fourth quarter of 2019 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) experienced growth of 4.04 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was also achieved by the Construction business sector at 9.98 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the PKP component of 18.15 percent.
Spatially, the economic growth of Kalimantan Island in 2019 grew by 4.99 percent with the highest growth in North Kalimantan Province which grew 6.91 percent.
