Abstract

Tana Tidung's economy in the third quarter of 2024, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 2.27 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR 1.08 trillion.

Tana Tidung's economy in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the second quarter of 2024 experienced growth of 2.27 percent (q-to-q). From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the secondary sector at 4.54 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the government's final household consumption expenditure (PK-P) component of 50.36 percent.
Tana Tidung's economy in quarter III-2024 compared to quarter III-2023 experienced growth of 2.93 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the tertiary sector at 8.56 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the government final consumption component (PK-P) at 8.46 percent.
Until the third quarter of 2024, Tana Tidung's economy experienced growth of 3.32 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the tertiary sector at 6.87 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component of 8.30 percent.
Spatially, the economic structure of North Kalimantan Province in the third quarter of 2024 is dominated by Tarakan City at 37.35 percent and the smallest is Tana Tidung Regency at 5.99 percent. Meanwhile, Tana Tidung Regency is in fourth place with a contribution of 12.13 percent. The economic performance of Tarakan City was recorded as having the highest growth of 5.79 percent (y-on-y).
