The collection of employment data by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is carried out through various census and survey activities. Census and survey activities that produce employment data include the Population Census (SP), Intercensal Population Survey (SUPAS), National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). Of these sources, only Sakernas is specifically designed to collect employment data between time periods. Due to its specificity, BPS stipulates that official employment publications are sourced from Sakernas.
