Abstract
The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the comparison between the price index received by farmers (It) and the price index paid by farmers (Ib). NTP is an indicator to assess the purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. It also reflects the terms of trade between agricultural products and the goods and services consumed, as well as for production costs.
In December 2024, the NTP of North Kalimantan Province was 114.82, an increase of 0.36 percent compared to the NTP in November 2024. This increase was due to a 0.75 percent rise in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It), which grew faster than the 0.39 percent increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).

The Household Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in North Kalimantan Province in December 2024 was 118.58, an increase of 0.67 percent compared to the previous month.
In December 2024, there was a 0.46 percent increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan Province, with the highest increase occurring in the Food, Beverages, and Tobacco group at 0.69 percent.
