  • HDI growth in 2022 has accelerated from the previous year. All dimensions forming the HDI have increased, especially the decent standard of living.
  • In the dimensions of longevity and healthy living, babies born in 2022 have an expectation of being able to live up to 72.67 years, 0.02 years longer than those born in the previous year.
  • In the educational dimension, the expected length of schooling for residents aged 7 years and over increased 0.12 years compared to the previous year, from 12.94 years to 13.06 years, while the average length of schooling for residents aged 25 years and over increased 0.16 years, from 9.11 years to 9.27 years in 2022.
  • The dimension of a decent standard of living as measured by the average real expenditure per capita (adjusted) increased by 275 thousand rupiah (3.03 percent) compared to the previous year.
