  • North Kalimantan's economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) based on current prices in the third quarter of 2022 reached Rp 31.81 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 reached Rp 16.84 trillion.
  • North Kalimantan's economy in the third quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter grew by 2.80 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Financial Services and Insurance Business Field experienced the highest growth of 6.62 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component of 6.86 percent.
  • North Kalimantan's economy in quarter III-2022 compared to quarter III-2021 grew by 5.39 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision Business Field experienced the highest growth of 12.48 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth occurred in the Export Component of Goods and Services at 7.19 percent.
  • The economy of North Kalimantan in Quarter I to III-2022 against Quarter I to III-2021 grew by 4.95 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the largest growth occurred in the Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision Business Field of 11.03 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Export Component of Goods and Services at 7.52 percent.
  • Spatially, the economy of Kalimantan Island in the third quarter of 2022 (y-o-y) grew by 5.67 percent with a share of 9.42 percent to the national economy. The increase in growth was mainly due to the economic growth of all provinces. The highest growth occurred in Central Kalimantan at 6.74 percent; followed by West Kalimantan 6.48 percent; South Kalimantan by 5.59 percent; North Kalimantan by 5.39 percent; and East Kalimantan by 5.28 percent.
