  • Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
  • FTT is an indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher FTT, the relatively strong the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers.
  • FTT of Kalimantan Utara Province in December 2020 amounted to 103.43 or decreased 0.19 percent compared to FTT in November 2020. The decrease in FTT was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was lower than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
  • FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province December 2020, namely the Food Crop Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPP) of 99.58; Horticultural Farmer Terms of Trade (NTPH) of 95.07; Smallholder Plantation Crops Terms of Trade (NTPR) of 121.28; Livestock farmers Terms of Trade (NTPT) is 104.40 and fishermen and fish cultivators Terms of Trade (NTNP) is 101.58.
  • Agricultural Household Businesses Terms of Trade (NTUP) in Kalimantan Utara Province in December 2020 was 105.53, an increase of 0.10 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
