  • Farmers Terms of Trade (FTT) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
  • FTT is an indicator to determine the level of ability / purchasing power of rural farmers. FTT also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher FTT, the relatively strong the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers.
  • FTT of Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2020 amounted to 103.62, an increase of 0.82 percent compared to the FTT in October 2020. The increase in FTT was caused by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) was higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
  • FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province November 2020, namely the Food Crop Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPP) of 99.98; Horticultural Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPH) of 95.51; The Smallholder Plantation Crops Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPR) of 120.38; The Livestock Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPT) is 104.41 and the Fishermen and Fish Cultivators Farmers Terms of Trade (NTNP) is 102.07.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Terms of Trade in Kalimantan Utara Province (NTUP) in November 2020 was 105.42, an increase of 0.84 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
