Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) against the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is one indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange power (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the FTT, the relatively stronger the level of farmers' ability / purchasing power.
FTT Of Kalimantan Utara Province in February 2020 was 103.81 or fell 0.22 percent compared to FTT in January 2020. The decrease in FTT was caused by the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which rose lower than the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib).
FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province in January 2020, namely the Farmer Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPP) of 100.38; Horticultural Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPH) of 94.83; Smallholder Plantation Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPR) of 120.06; Farmer Farmers Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 103.80 and Fishermen and Fish Farmers Exchange Rate (NTNP) of 103.04.
Agricultural Exchange (NTUP) of Kalimantan Utara Province in February 2020 was 105.56, up 0.59 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
