  • In February 2019, total commodity exports through ports in Kaltara reached US $ 83.50 million, a decrease of 9.22 percent compared to January 2019 which reached US $ 91.98 million. When compared to February 2018, the export value in February 2019 increased by 21.84 percent.

  • The decline in exports in February 2019 compared to January 2019 was caused by a decline in exports of non-oil and gas goods in the mining sector, the results of manufacturing and agricultural products respectively falling by 7.12 percent, 16.76 percent and 34.92 percent.
  • The import value of North Kalimantan Province in February 2019 reached US $ 5.97 million or increased by 1,197.83 percent compared to import in January 2019. When compared to February 2018, the import value of North Kalimantan Province in February 2019 increased by 17.23 percent. The import value of North Kalimantan Province in February 2019 in the form of non-oil commodities reached US $ 5.97 million.
