Coordination Meeting for Alignment of the Acceleration of Poverty Alleviation

Plt. Head of BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti was present with Deputy for Social Statistics of BPS, Ateng Hartono at the meeting chaired by the Head of the Agency for the Acceleration of Poverty Alleviation (BP Taskin), Budiman Sudjatmiko. BP Taskin also invited the Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf; Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, Agus Jabo Priyono; along with representatives from the Ministry of Cooperatives, Ministry of MSMEs, and Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions.

Budiman said that this meeting was the initial coordination to compile a single poverty data as a reference in efforts to eradicate poverty in Indonesia. Amalia welcomed BP Taskin's initiative as poverty alleviation coordinator, which is one of the main work programs of President Prabowo Subianto's government in terms of providing single poverty data.
